Key Functions of Transformer Oil

1. Heat Dissipation:
   Transformer oil has a high specific heat capacity and is often used as a coolant. Heat generated during transformer operation causes the oil near the iron core and windings to expand and rise due to heat, circulating through upper and lower convection.
2. Arc Suppression:
   In oil circuit breakers and on-load tap changers, arcs form when contacts switch. Transformer oil's good thermal conductivity and ability to generate high pressure gas under high-temperature arcs improve arc extinction by rapidly quenching and expelling the arc.

This oil filtration equipment is suitable for cleaning transformer oil used in power transmission and transformation equipment above 110/220/500 kV. It effectively removes moisture, gases, and mechanical impurities, thus improving the oil’s dielectric strength and quality to ensure reliable electrical equipment performance.
