Electric-mechanical drive with hydrostatic transmission (EMAG) was developed as an addition to a range of existing hydraulic drives for regulation, switching, and fast closing functions. The previous solution was based on using a central hydraulic system for power supply to control and shut-off valves.
However, the autonomous drive for gas turbines or technological valves Nilufer Hidropar EMAH2 is an independent system. This means that there is no need for a central hydraulic power supply or complex pipelines. Additionally, EMAH is a displacement-controlled system, where the drives are located in an integrated block consisting of a synchronous motor and a hydraulic displacer.
In EMAH, the power of hydraulics is combined with the dynamics and connection of electricity in a self-sufficient system with a very low oil volume. The drives are suitable for installation on valves used for switching and controlling steam, liquid, and gas.
