Filter drain Argo-Hytos series E212 and E222

Application: In high pressure return lines of hydraulic systems.

Wear protection: Using filtering elements that even with full filtration meet the highest cleanliness class requirements.

Failure protection: By full-flow filtration in the system, pumps are primarily protected from dirt particles entering the system from outside, remaining after assembly, repair, due to wear.

Special features:

Relief valve: Located near the inlet of the filtering element prevents contaminated particles from entering the clean side of the filter.

Removable bowl: In case of technical maintenance, the filter bowl is removed together

with the filtering element.

Filling filter / bypass filter protection filter: The filling filter is built into the filtering element and prevents the entry of coarse particles during filling or refilling,
technical maintenance or repair. Filling can be done directly on the filter. Therefore, the cover must be removed. During operation, the filling filter functions as a bypass filter protection filter and prevents dirt from entering the reservoir when the bypass valve is open.
Ventilation filter port: The ventilation filter is ordered separately.

Filtering elements: Flow direction from outside to inside. The star-shaped pleating of the filter material provides: Large cleaning surface; low pressure drop; High dirt holding capacity; Long service life.

Seals: NBR (Viton upon request)

Filter material: EXAPOR®MAX 2 - mesh made of inorganic multi-layer fiberglass
Paper - cellulose fabric impregnated with resin

Filling filter: Polyamide, reinforced; Polyester mesh
Accessories:
Electric and/or visual clogging indicators - optional with one or two switching points, temperature-independent. Ventilation filters with M42 x 2 threaded connection available on request. Extension pipes or diffusers at the outlet of the bowl are available upon request.
Extension pipe: The correct length of the extension pipe ensures an outlet below the minimum oil level and prevents foaming.
